Wow, 1 or 1,138. Were you looking for this type of car or just get lucky? From your pics it looks like you refurbished it yourself ???? My husband was interested in a Corvette for the longest time then we were out driving some where with our son (4 yrs) who just saw the Transformer movie and saw a yellow camaro on a lot so we stopped to ck it out (we love looking at classic cars). As we were looking around on the lot my husband could not believe what he saw "a Yenko" and hours later we purchased it. We left the lot and my son was so upset because he kept saying daddy "I want to buy the blue car". We wanted to keep it a surprise, let me tell you this much when the car was finally in our garage it was Christmas for my son and husband. My son tells family & friends "My daddy and me have a Yenko".
Fill me in on your pics..... -Dee |

Raced it until 1971 or so, sold it. It changed hands again and we stumbled up on it in 1989 at the Detroit Autorama in full race trim. We bought the rolling chassis back a few years later and dad has been dragging his feet on the project ever since

Here is a picture of my classic. I found this in a barn last fall. I haven't started working on it yet.

I wish I lived somewhere where there are barns to raid. In Southern California all the good stuff is either Barret-Jacksonized or Ghettoized already. Very hard to find a canvas like that to work on. On the other hand, we don't have rust, or really any other weather damage either.

GREAT find Tim!
From the looks of it, it appears you have a decent Z there, who just needs some TLC. What options are on your Z??? (...ie; 4 spd., crossram, etc.) |

Sweet Z Tim. I love seeing cars that were neglected being saved.

That's awesome, Tim! How long had it been sitting in the barn and how did you find out about it? What did you buy it for?
