To owners...how bad are the blind spots while driving?
I sat in one, didn't get to drive it, but it seemed like switching lanes could be extremely difficult with the blind spot. So how bad is it really, while driving?

there is a very big blind stop but if you use your side mirrors it makes it a little better. but the over the shoulder looking wont work very well.

Yeah, it seems like looking over your shoulder won't help very much, so I'm a bit worried lol.

I was worried about it to, but I finally got to test drive on yesterday and it wasn't too bad. The mirrors helped a lot, but I also wasn't on the busiest highway..
It's certainly different that driving a Camry lol

just have to get use to it. The charger has horrible blind spots also, so it doesnt bother me as much. what is seriously going to suck is cleaning the damn back and front window. the area is so small you cant get your hand back there.

Yeah the visability is my biggest concern. I drive a 2004 buick regal as my every day and it has practically no blind spots, it's very open. I know I will WORSHIP my camaro I just know it will be a change. I'm a little anxious about it but if others have adjusted I'm sure I will too.

My Challenger has similar blind spots. At first it concerned me as well but you quickly get used to them. I'm sure it'll be the same for you guys with Camaros.

I've heard the blind spots are pretty bad but what do you want.... it's not a sedan. Also, it looks so mean... people are bound to get out of your way.

I drive in Chicago, so the blind spots are big and they are a pain. But, you do get use to them and I am learning howto change lanes slower and less often. Seeing I came from driving a Avalanche, this is a HUGE change for me. But well worth it !! The car is SMOKIN HOT !!

This was my biggest concern too, but I can tell you after putting about 500 miles on her already in mostly rush hour traffic, the blind spots are not that big of a deal. You have to trust your mirrors because it doesn’t do much good to turn around. If your mirrors are adjusted right (there is a post around here somewhere on how to do that), you can easily see a car in your rear view mirror, side windows, or side mirrors. It’s going to show up in one of the three. It just takes a little getting used to. GM thought this through and put very wide mirrors on the Camaro.

I plan on putting on Convex Mini Mirrors, Like these to help out. The last thing you want in this car is a sideswipe. Those rear Quarters are part of the chasis....BONDO CENTRAL if they get hit!

Took about 20 miles in traffic....
but you'll get used to it. You HAVE to use your mirrors, especially the right side one. Get it adjusted just right and you're good to go.
I've always installed one of those mini convex mirrors that are about an inch long and a half in tall and stuck it on the corner of the drivers side mirror. See attachment.
