My first car was a Red '79 Mustang LX Notch back with a white "Karman Ghia" interior. Sporty, yeah, I ragged that car out until I wrecked it being a dumbass.
I still miss that car.

Imma say no. My first car was almost a 1974 Ford Gran Torino. My sister complained that it was too much car for her, so my dad traded it. The one that got handed down to me later was an '84 Crown Vic, though it did have two redeeming qualities: RWD and V8.

I always thought they handled great after a little lowering. If they could have lost some weight they would have been even more impressive. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4

I had a 1978 Pontiac Firebird formula with a 350, 4-barrel carb, and a B&M ratchet shifter (yes sporty). I absolutely miss that car. It was rusting out real bad and would have needed Chip Foose twice over to get it nice but man was it fun! Too much car for a 16 year old but i never wrecked it. I'm sure it's in heaven now but if i ever saw it again, i would buy it back in a heartbeat!

Does a 69 Camaro with a little 307 and a powerglide count as sporty?

87 Cavalier RS. Kinda sporty looking but went 0-60 in a weekend. Would love to have that car back as a DD.
