BMR issue.
I ordered a set of 1.4" front lowering springs for my Camaro about a week ago, take the Camaro to the shop yesterday to have them installed, the shop called after an hour saying that I had been sent the wrong springs. since I supplied the springs they are charging me extra for removal and replacement to get the car back off the lift after they had disassembled everything.
I call BMR this morning to discuss what the issue is. basically they have 3-4 revisions to the same spring set (so I was told). the top of the spring that sits on the isolator will not seat correctly because I have the "wrong revision" yet this issue is somehow my fault, when on the website they list the one set for all 2010-2015 Camaros. they have sent me a shipping label and i have to send the springs i have back and wait for them to get confirmation of the shipment leaving the facility to send me the correct parts. So now I'm out another $200 and at LEAST 4 days without my car and missing the last track day at the local drag strip. I mentioned this issue to the rep and was told that "the owner says I cannot offer you any compensation or overnight shipping because we technically did not send you the wrong parts" UHHHHH yeah you did. and to think I was about to pull the trigger on some motor mounts and a sway bar set. Not happy.

I can see why you are upset. That wouldn't make me very happy either. I've had good luck with BMR, so hopefully your situation is an anomoly.

Looking at the BMR website, every set of springs under applications just says "2010-2015 camaro". Of course this is in the Camaro section but how the heck are you supposed to know there are different versions?

Just my luck Hopefully once I get someone on the phone that seems to give a S*** I'll get some help here, but for now BMR has really fallen in my book and most likely wont be recommending them again, like I always have in the past.

Hearing this, I will be buying my trailing arms from someone else. Who knows, they might have 4 different versions and not tell me. WANKERS.
