So yesterday was the first really nice day we've had this year, and i was drivin my camaro down the main street of my town with windows down, epic rock music up, and aviators on, (

) and i look over to the other lane, and there is a 2010 LT camaro there! (i got really excited, cause i dont see too many new camaros in my town) so i speed up a little to catch up to him, i look over and catch his eye, point at his car and give him a thumbs up and a huge smile. the guy grins back at me, points to my car and gives me the thumbs up. we were drivin right next to each other for a while, revvin our engines back and forth, and this pretty much made my month. and the coolest thing was: this wasnt some young kid, this guy had to be about 65-70 years old, and he was rockin back and forth with me

! this has happened to me a few times before with other camaros, and i was just wondering if all camaro owners are this awesome, or just the ones i see?

All Camaro owners here in RI are like that, we all wave or give thumbs up every time we pass on the streets.

Yea for the most part your right. But I've encountered some rude ones. They look at u weird when u give em the thumbs up or wave and even ignore u.

That's a cool story! I commute on a 2/4 lane hiway and saw a SS on my tail the other day, a spirited run up the hiway ensued with waves and thumbs up when I turned. I've ran into a couple of real snobs though, who wouldn't even look at the other Camaro like it would scald their retina.

A sweet car is a sweet car; Im constantly giving props to people on the road.
Camaro owners IMO tend to be a bit friendlier in my experiences; even when Im driving my Cobra. Love it!

I seem to get more respect from the Challanger owners than fellow Camaro drivers, what's up with that!

not in NY.. i seen another bumble bee once (he was driving the opposite way on a two way block) and i honked my horn and gave him thumbs up and he just kept driving ..
ungrateful piece of shit.. other than that i hardly ever see another camaro here

As I said in an other thread I'm not a waver ,but if you wave to me I'll wave back. That's more along the lines of good manners than anything else.

One thing I've discovered in my "wave snubs" recently-The other driver USUALLY is looking straight ahead and doesn't see me coming. Given the traffic congestion here in Alpharetta (outside Atlanta) that is a GOOD thing, so I don't fault 'em much anymore when they don't wave back...but back to the OP, yes, we all ALL AWESOME!!!!!!!
