650rwhp.... That's the goal

So the parts are piling up in the garage and I'm getting anxious start the install. The goal was 650rwhp but keep reliability and durability, that's not asking too much right? Here's what I'm going with:

Whipple 2.9 hopefully on a modest 9 or 10lb boost (4" or 3.875" pulley)
CBI ESAD cam
ID850 injectors
CTSv dual pump setup
SLP LT 1.34" headers
3" catless exhaust,X-pipe
Katech C5r t-chain w/ LS2 style tensioner
CAI w/Whipple tube
ZR1 3 bar MAP
Tune from DSX

Both my tuner and Chad from CBI said 650 shouldn't be an issue. Can't wait to get stupid!

SLP LT headers, 3" exhaust, no cats, x-pipe
ZL1 dual mode mufflers

With that list of parts and DSX behind thr keyboard...650 shouldn't be a problem at all.

I can't wait to get my car sorted out so I can join the blower club too! Dang blower just sitting on the shop floor. 650 rwhp is a little high for 1-3/4 headers, they are probably going to cost you a little bit at the peak, just making it a little more difficult, but not impossible.

Yea you will be over that 650 mark with the whipple. Like others said a 1 7/8th or 2" header would of been better with forced induction but your goal will be met regardless.

My guess 685rwhp

After the install and tune, a clutch and maybe axles will probably be the next thing addressed. But after that the E85 or any Alky meth kit.

If the headers cause any problems, they could always be swapped for larger, but from some of the reading I did when I was still N/A sometimes bigger wasn't always better. Not sure if this will be the same with Whipple, if it is I can work on that. With everything else in the exhaust being pretty much wide open, I'm hoping an 1/8 or 1/4" on the headers don't hurt me to bad.

I'm sure they won't choke it off so much that you'll miss your goal, but at that power level there will probably be a pretty good bit of power left on the table, especially compared to running a 2" header with the same mods. I'd wager on 20-30 HP at peak.

We have made 750+rwhp on 1.750" headers. It just gives up a little tq on the low end. You'll be fine!

Id take that bet lol..Nascar runs 1 5/8 headers and make over 950hp.Id say at 650rwhp you MAY pick up an extra 10 with the 2 inch

Ive been talking to chad about doing all my bushings and possibly either 150 shot of juice or just ponying up and getting an ECS kit with Meth. He does awesome work and DSX is amazing with tuning

Without hesitation, I'd recommend Chad at CBI for any LSx work. He really is one of the good guys, no drama, no ego, and a lot of knowledge. Dave is a wizard with tuning, very good team.
