It seems like here where I live, we have more 5th gens than anything. I don't see a whole lot of 6th's around either. Still a handful of 3's and 4's as well. I've always got my eye out for another cheap 4th.

You're right. Here in Sarasota 10-13 5th Gens are rare. I was driving next to an early (chickets) black coupe a couple of weeks ago. Other than a neighbors '13 SS same as mine, you never see them. Too much money here I think. Mine is stock and still turns heads wherever I go. Love it and keeping it

No. There were about 625,000 built. They're still plentiful. I see them every day. I see more of them in my area than 6th gens.

I “might” see one 5th gen a week. Way more 6th gens around me.

There are plenty of 5th gens here in Las Vegas. 6th gens are around too but most seem to be V6 or the turbo 4.

There would only be a few hundred Gen 5’s in Australia, currently 24 for sale priced between $58k and $120k. There are heaps more Gen 6 as they are available through HSV dealers. Gen 5’s had to be personally imported and converted to right hand drive.

On the low end that would be $39K USD approx. Wowzers. Maybe I'll make a trip to Australia with my SS next year. That would only cost about $5K USD.

The left hand to right hand drive conversion is $33k to get done here, I know as that’s what it cost me in 2013.
