Wireless CarPlay Radio

I got hooked on regular CarPlay so I grabbed an open box wireless head unit with a better screen from BB. Love it so far.

Put proper type of fuel in my Camaro. Chevrolet recommends using 87 octane in Camaros with six-cylinder engines.

Did you have them install? How does it affect heating controls and heated seats? Does it have the Bluetooth delay that the factory radio does?

It looks good for sure.

Thanks. I install most of my electronics myself. No effect whatsoever on any controls other than you can’t make changes to certain items like locking sequence since that’s done through the stock radio. Not sure about the factory Bluetooth delay but my Pioneer head units seem to work fine with Bluetooth.

I finally installed my knock off Heritage Grill. I got it for Father's Day but I wanted to wait until I could paint it, but I said screw it and finally put it on. It's already fairly close to my Cyber Gray Metallic shade wise and looks so damn good. I will just remove it and paint it when I paint my GFX skirts and diffuser.

I couldn't get a good picture because of the stupid glare, so this will do.

Edit: I didn't realize how obvious that front facing camera is with this grill. May have to relocate that. I use it to avoid destroying my splitter though.

How much was the knock off, if I may ask?

Of course you may! $178.80 shipped from here:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Heritage-Gr...72.m2749.l2649

There are multiple sellers on Ebay for these, not sure if there is a quality difference. The area that usually gets painted on these is nice and smooth so it looks like it would be minimal prep to paint.

Thanks! The seller that popped up does have some negative reviews but, seems to have a lot of satisfied customers on the grill, from what I see. Could be a project down the road.

I like them Unpainted on CGM but I could be a little biased.

Yessir! They match quite well.

I have oem GFX on my car and in model year 2010 they were not offered painted by the factory/dealer. Luckily they also match the CGM paint fairly well so I have gotten away with it. You can tell up close of course as they have no clear coat, but it's not obvious.

I love that hood man. So mean looking!
