My K&N Aircharger has the plastic intake tube, so it will definitely be interesting to see the difference in the numbers ...

I'll post on Saturday afternoon/evening .... if Scott and Tim don't beat me to it ...
Greg,

What time are you going to be there? Mind if I'd come and watch? I've got the GMPP offroad and am thinking about the Edelbrock X pipe.

As they mention, the baseline numbers were on a stock automatic with Corsa cat back and CAI Inc cold air intake. Although I'm really happy with the "butt dyno" result, I'm most happy with the disablement of the DOD. It's sooooo nice not to have that drone at low speeds or highway cruising. After all, you want your muscle car to sound like a muscle car, not an elephant fart.

Greg, I can't wait to see your results. Scott noticed that the air intake temps were hot on the CAI intake, even though the hose is ceramic coated. I'm really curious to see how yours performs on the same dyno/setup. Good luck.
Nice numbers on the tune. Doing mine soon.

OK guys ... another great day on the dyno at OCD Customs Saturday morning! 'Don O' came by (nice meeting you Don) and it was really cool!

I couldn't be happier with the results ... overall, I picked up 30hp and 37ft/lbs at the wheels (corrected thats 36hp and 44ft/lbs at the crank)! The cars sounds AWESOME and pulls HARD from 2500-5500! Now THIS is what a Camaro SS should run and sound like! Here are a list of the mods and a copy of the dyno sheet :
- K&N Aircharger
- Edelbrock x-pipe
- GMPP Off-Road exhaust
- Diablosport Predator
- tune 'tweaked' by Scott at OCD Customs

And here's a video of me and the Camaro doing the 'Happy Dance" afterwards ...

http://ocdcustoms.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=5

(This is a link to the video page of OCD Custom's website - sorry, my computer here at work won't allow me to access the actual video)

PS ... CHARLSS ... my air/intake temps were a full 20 degrees cooler than yours ... WOW!

Once again, I couldn't be happier with the results - HUGE thanks to Tim and Scott at OCD Customs ... These guys are super cool and we had a great time while doing all this ... they definitely come HIGHLY recommended by me ....

Great runs, Greg. Those air temps are significant. I see ebay in my future!

It was a good day at OCD Customs. Tim and Scott have a nice shop there.

Nice meeting you too Greg. I had them put my car on the dyno after you left and we did 11 pulls to dial it in. Our number are almost identical for L99 cars.

Don't know the name GSM, but Scott talked about a shop he had in Ontario CA before the economy went south and he moved to Orange County. He did a lot of Mopar stuff.
