Automatic SS shifting question
Hi everyone:
When you are doing your daily drives in your SS with auto transmission, do you leave it in "Drive" mode, "Sport" mode, or shift manually with the paddles? Thanks.

If I'm just driving to work, I'll keep it in drive. If I'm cruising through town, I'll paddle shift. If I'm going on a spirited drive with friends, I'll keep it in sport.

I'm sure opinions vary and mine isn't a daily but I use the sport mode when driving alone and drive and a light touch on the throttle when the ball and chain is in the passenger seat. DynoSteve tune makes it a little snappy when you hit it in any mode.

I use sport mode most of the time and paddle shift when I want to show off the sound of my Long tube headers.

Same, sport mode at all times and use the paddles when I'm feeling froggy.

Sport mode most of the time, on long road trips, I'll use drive occasionally. Use the paddle shifters around town a little more then half the time.

Drive mainly because my Sport mode is very aggressive with Dynosteve's tune so even Drive is fairly aggressive now. I rarely use the paddles on mine. When I want to play a bit then Sport mode for sure.

I use drive mode most of the time simply because I had sport mode tuned much more oriented towards racing around. I'll drive in manual mode when I really want to have some fun and make her pop and snarl.

I never use my paddles anymore, cruising or at the strip. The shift points and the way it handles with the 4k stall is completely different so i just keep it in Sport and let the computer do the work

I mostly keep it in drive. I do have the AFM disabled so it's always running on 8.
