They tried the same with me and freaked when I wrote down their license plate. Two big ol' boys started walking toward me but the wind accidentally blew my shirt and exposed my... Hum... "Equalizer" and they beat feet. I called the law and reported the scammers... Hopefully they did something, but I'm not sure they ever actually broke any laws. Be careful out there because like it or not, there is evil out there!!!

Once the knew I wouldn't be buying, he tore out of there, probably so I wouldn't get his tag. I saw him later in traffic and got his tag and reported it to the local tip line, but like you said, what he's doing might not even be illegal.

say you have a buddy who is looking for whatever they're selling. He will buy one and bring money to buy one for you. then call or text the police instead. tell him your friend will be here in a few minutes.
