Just got the call my order was placed for my 18 ss 1le. Anybody else place an order for an 18?

Also I don't know how well you know the dealer or order process but when I ordered my 2010 in feb 2009 they didn't explain allocation or tell me I was about 30th in line already with them, or I would of gone elsewhere for sure. Obviously a much different set of circumstances but you get the idea.

That's ridiculous. In October 2008 my dealer had a list right out in the open so you could see exactly where you were at. I, fortunately was at the top of the list and got my 2010 SS/RS in April of 2009. I will never forget that day.

Yeh needless to say I don't go to that dealer anymore. Took me 6 months to get mine.

Just submitted my order today!! 2018 1SS 1LE in Arctic Blue

I wasn't able to get a decent model year end discount on a 17 1LE around me, just not enough of them to be discounted. For me waiting a couple months to have a brand new 2018 that I'll be the first one to drive is worth it.

Most like last week of June or first week of July if there are no delays in starting 2018 production (scheduled to start June 12th)

Don't get your hopes up for delivery that early...I would think more so around early August to be safe. They may hold the first few batches off the line for "quality checks".

I would say if he gets a June TPW then he should absolutely have it by the end of July. Remember how they were when we were waiting our cars? Mine was built the day before Thanksgiving and it was delivered on 12 December, and that was still the initial run of 1LEs.
