po365 code not starting right

Nothing found on search bar. I have a 2021 v-6 Camaro with v-6 with 26,000 miles . Been sitting for a couple of months ,had to spin over more than normal ended up with check engine light. Hooked up scan tool and got a po365 code. Seems to run fine but hard to start. Any suggestions. Thanks

Faulty camshaft position sensor perhaps?

The car should still be covered under the powertrain warranty. You might consider letting a dealer resolve it.

My bad, it is a 2020 but the cam position sensor is cheap and looks to be easy to change. But if it goes any further than that you are right.

That's a bank 1 code. You can swap the valve actuators from bank 1 to bank 2 and see if the code moves.

I think you can get a PDF of the owners manual right on the Chevy website, not sure if there is a pic of the sensor though.

I think problems with the valve actuators can show up as camshaft position sensor codes. That's why I suggested swapping the actuators. That part is also called the VVT solenoid.

So finally got a chance to drive it today. Still has the same issue. Slow to start but runs perfect otherwise. CEL back on. I thought the cam position sensors were on the front top of valve cover, def. in the back, much harder to get to. If theres 2 sensors per bank, how do you know which one it is? Again car only has 26,000 miles on it so i,m unhappy about having CEL at this point.

So much for DIY. My scan code was cam sensor drivers bank, so I replaced the exhaust sensor first and erased code and after a drive the CEL was right back on. So I replaced the intake cam sensor on drivers bank, erased the code and after a short drive CEL light back on and not starting as quick as it should.
