They filmed that not to far from where I grew up. It happened on the cline ave bridge. It was awful what happened. She will never be the same

18 mil or no permanent brain damage hmmm I'll take no brain damage for 600 Alex. That is sad but atleast she was compensated hopefully she can enjoy life to the fullest with what abilities she was left with.

Sad. Who knows what shape she'll be in once all the surgeries are over. 18 million isn't worth being trapped in your own body unable to control it.

thats horrible. my usual sarcastic self was about to make an untastely joke, but i'll reserve it for once. Hope she is able to salvage a decent quality of life though - shame for it to happen to someone but especially someone that young.

It seemed all she wanted was medical bills paid as promised but after receiving no response and completely being avoided, she then wins the lawsuit. Seems reasonable but there is always two sided to a story.... who knows. Hope she fully recovers and i am pretty sure 18Mil is just .02 cents out of their bank accts.

Yeah you make a good point. $18 million to us sounds like A LOT but to Paramount it would be like us taking $1 out of our wallets.
