Help convince me to dump my C6 and come on over to Camaro!

So, like most of you, I have "the disease" and like nice cars. Lately I have been lusting over the Camaro Vert and am seriously considering trading in my 2005 C6 coupe for a new Vert.

Obviously, if I wanted just fast, I would stick with the vette, but lately its been getting a little difficult to haul my fat @$$ out of the little rocket and I can't take my family out cruising in my vette. I know that the back seat is a joke in the Camaro, but hey, its MUCH better than the vette

I am considering a 2lt-V6 but may up to a SS. Since there are no incentives, I am probably looking at waiting a few weeks for the 2013.

i have been doing my homework and reading about the car. I had a VERY stripped hardtop in Vegas as a rental car, so I am good with the blindspots and size of the vehicle.

Any words of wisdom?

Get a vert SS and don't look back. If you go from a vette to a V6 as nice as they are you will miss the power....

Don't waste your money ordering the polished wheels. GM's version of polished isn't worth the extra. Put it towards a set of custom rims to make the car your own.

Yeah, I think its going to be an SS. I actually really like the smoked, painted wheels.

$1,000 private offer off the chevy.com site. I am not sure if they are still doing it though. I'll try to find a link.... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187654

Also, you should be able to get one for well under the MSRP if you order it.

If you are not too tall consider the SS coupe + sunroof. Especially if you live where there is the white stuff.

If your rockin a vette now you aren't going to like a v6 I don't think. I feel you may be left wanting more. I'd suggest the SS.

Agree with most. Think you would be disappointed with a v6 after the vette. However I personally like the polished over the painted ms wheels.

These words of wisdom from an Olathe HS grad (back when there was only 1 HS).

This will not be a daily driver, just a toy.
I also have a 13 year old who will probably driving it in a year or so...so I have to remember that.
