Arrow I got hit, but guy did not leave

So this morning i parked behind a pickup truck on the side of the street and a few minutes later a man comes into the building i was to ask if the red camaro was mine. I thought that maybe he was going to advise me that i had a flat or something, but i come to know he hit my new front bumper.

I was shocked to tell you the truth most people would hit you and act as if nothing happen, but this man came to my building and left his info so that he can pay for the damages.

The damage is not a big thing. So i called the guy to let him know how much its going to cost to fix it and he was very nice about the whole thing.

Edit:

My car is fixed!!!

Buy the man a 6-pack for his honesty. Seriously. Do not let the good deed go unrewarded.

Sadly, we are in times were people should be rewarded for doing the right thing. So that they continue to do the right thing.
In reality it should just be what we do. No reward needed.

So absolutely true... it's sad actually. Same thing happened to me but the person that did it wasn't as nice. :(

i would at least call the guy and thank him for being so honest and doing the right thing. that's what i would do. he could have very easily left your car as it was and left with no money out of his pocket. since the impact looks pretty minor and he was in a truck, i'm guessing that he had little to no damage.

Cool story, gives you hope in humanity.
On a side note, are you gonna replace the bumper or are they gonna fix it?

About a year ago, I was waiting in a parking lot for Another 8-10 camaros to show up for a cruise. No one had arrived yet, and I was waiting standing next to my car.

I watched as a truck backing out cut the wheel too early and hit this car next to them pulling out.

They stopped. About 10-15 seconds went by and then they started to continue to pull away.

I started walking towards them (they were about 15 yards away), and they saw me and stopped again. I think reluctantly, they pulled back in because they saw they weren't home free, and got out and looked at the damages. They still seemed like they wanted to leave, but by that time I had let them know they should go into the diner and look for the owners of the car. I had also made sure I was taking pictures, since I already had my camera in hand.
