Hurst Short Throw Shifter - Ordering Contraint ? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was informed by my dealer today that there's a husrt short throw constraint. It surprised me since I haven't seen any postings on this web site yet. And this is the main reason why I'm sitting at 1100.

Anyone know if this is true ?

The shifter has been on constraint for a long time...but you're dealer should have informed you of that already and that will not be an option availiable right now

Its been on constraint since production started!

The VYV option never ever made it to production. It was available to order but has never been in production. This dealer doesn't seem too "on the ball" as it were. it'll sit at 1100 until VYV comes off.

The Hurst shifter isn't actually on constraint, it's been removed as an option, period....supposed to be available in Q3 of '09. Remove it. Your order will never be pulled for production if it is on it!
