Winter setup advice

I'm looking into a winter wheel setup and before I go making a mistake I wanted to ask here. So, thank you for your help!

For a 2014 1LT RS I was thinking of picking up some Heritage Steel Wheels that I have located locally. He used them for 2 winter seasons on his 2010 1LT. He also has Firestone Winterforce for them if I want, claiming 75% tread left. $300 for the rims, or $500 the whole setup. Includes trim rings and center caps with lug nuts and covers. They are at a tire shop currently. He doesn't remember the exact size as he was out of town when I spoke with him but guessed 205/60r18, which sounds wrong to me.

Would this be a good idea to pick up or should I keep looking? Maybe just the rims? If so, if anyone is familiar with these wheels, which size tires might I look into? I anticipate moving south within a year or two.

Thanks!
