If I were you I believe I would be investing in new rotors and pads.

Might want to consider picking up a "Chilton" manual (#28285) that covers 2010-2015 Camaros. The section on brakes had a description of how to replace rotors and pads.

I done the very same conversion on my 2014 2LT/RS about 18 months/15K ago with ZERO problems. I used factory SS rotors and used the best pads that O'Riely's had to offer.

From start to finish the complete conversion took me about 8 hours, removing standard LT brake lines, rotors, calipers, all 4 backing plates and even the master cylinder. Only assistance I needed was when it came to bleeding out the new system.

I went ahead and ordered new SS rotors and Hawks pads for the car. online. Seemed a cheaper alternative NEW compared to getting them resurfaced etc....

Many people forget to do this. Make sure you use brake pad grease available at any auto store for just a dollar or two.

Cheap to try before spending money on new rotors/pads.

Remember to break your pads/rotors in so you will have smooth surfaces. Ceramic brakes are known to squeak from time to time. If you can't handle it then use semi-metallic pads.

Just went through this. The light caliper crease on the sides of the pads did the trick.

No issues for almost two years owning the car till now. Just replaced the rotors to new SS Rotors with Hawks Performance Pads from JDP and the car is now SUPER QUIET. I couldn't be happier.

I consider them mystifying.

I went with Duralast GT performance pads and Duralast rotors. Used purple pad grease on all contact points and never had any noise. Make sure you do the break in steps.

Same here. I assume mine are only for decoration as my brakes have always been a tad noisy.
