The only decent place I saw for a firearm is the space under the steering wheel. It would work with a belt clip holster. I'll have to try it out.

I may not have mine yet. but I wanna contribute a picture of the one they have here at the local dealership which will probably end up mine!
You'll love it! I was set on a Hyper Blue with the low gloss black wheels until I saw the Fifty. The pics definitely do not do the cars justice.

Checking in on the 50th

Just finished reading thru 129 pages of this Thread, it was awesome to see so many of you enjoying this historic "Fifty" edition Camaro. Since this thread is full of owners of the car, it's not a surprise that you seem to like picts of the car. I will add some from my stash.
Also, I couldn't be happier to see many of you adding the GM Accessory black bowties, "Fifty" floor matts, "Fifty" car cover and black tail lamps.....those are great adds to the car. Including those as standard equipment would have raised the MSRP.......offering quality equipment that's designed to be integrated with the styling as an accessory is way to keep the standard price down, while making parts available for those who can afford some upgrades.

Some Export Photos

Because the Grill and Splitter for the 50th is from our North American Accessory Portfolio, those parts were not validated for export usage. This resulted in those parts being pulled from Exported cars. But as these photos show, the car still looks pretty dramatic.........I'd imagine these customers will be finding away to get their hands on the parts on their own somehow

Press Images

The Last 7 picts are from the initial Press release, We spent a lot time putting these images together without a production 50th to photograph. For those of you that are really on your game, you might be able to find some inconsistencies between these and the final car.

Thanks for checking in and for the photos, Atom! Please pass along to your team that you guys absolutely nailed it with the design of the 50th. The grille and splitter tie the car together for me; I'm hoping our guys across the pond find the parts!

Yes, Kaizer_911 ......it is I.....LOL........I need to make more time to read thru the forums, it took me 4hrs, (longer than the entire length of the Lions Playoff game I had on) to to get up to speed on the 50th edition via this thread. My goal as the Exterior Designer of the 50th was to do a Camaro that contrasted the 1LE package I was working on at the same time and would stand the test of time for years to come while not using the past as a crutch. We felt that it would be appropriate to do the 50th as more of a GT or Touring persona to appeal to a different customer profile than the hardcore track feel of the 1LE. If you think of a Camaro as a person, the 1LE is dressed for combat, while the 50th is dressed for a night on the town.
I have read thru the forums enough to know some customers would of preferred a more retro or historic approach to the 50th (which is valid), but we felt that was the easy and predictable solution. Instead of going with hugger orange accents on white or black......we decided to use muted tones, gloss level changes and more subtle/sophisticated design solutions. So the 50th uses grey's, burnt copper as an accent in strategic areas, performance parts like the front splitter for additional frt lift reduction, and high flow lower grill that accents the dual outboard coolers on the SS coupe. This thinking even affected the SS and RS logos that would have been to jarring if left in their stock red color. Then there is the wheels, a signature element of the car, We haven't had a directional wheel on a Camaro since the 4th gen. The wheels are a functional sculpture in motion while standing still, and the milled face detail highlights the chain saw teeth like elements around the perimeter. The celebrating 50 years of Camaro on the center cap is the cherry on top.
The interior continues this thinking inside with the use of tone on tone grey's, subtle orange accent stitching and sophisticated executions of the FIFTY logo on the head rest and IP. The use of satin chrome verse bright chrome on the interior, also made it's way to the accents in the lower grill of the exterior. Lastly, The sill plate is a perfect example of the type of high end execution we are going for.....warm brushed aluminum with polished letters and illumination.
it's 2:19 am.........sleepy time for me.....but I wanted to do something like this for the NEW YEAR.....so tonight was the night........Next up will be a 1LE post, Auto-X post and Indy 500 50th Anniversary Pace Car post.

Awesome! Thought that was you.

Thanks for all your work on the 50th Anniversary Edition! I think you guys and gals nailed it! I knew as soon as I saw the first pre-production renders I had to have one, and well I do, lol.

If you will be at Camaro Fest 7 in Bowling Green this year, I would like to shake your hand.

Thanks again! And good night good sir!
