Did you have to tune to remove any check engine lights after removing stock cats?

Interesting, the reason I went with Borla ATAK 'cat back only' was I didn't want CEL issues on my 2014, I'm trying to stay warranty friendly until my extended warranty runs out. I heard once u put headers in you have a 90% chance on CEL errors.

I spent a pretty penny on the Borla kit, so hopefully later on I could still use it along with headers.. New to all this.

The shorty headers don't cause a cell when installed right...long tubes trip a cel ..this has to be tuned out..giving up your warranty. The shorty headers with solo hi flows would sound great with your exhaust.

My car had the full Kooks 3" system for the last three years, but the mufflers had broken down internally and made the interior drone and "glass-pack" sounding cackle unbearable. After a ton of research, I decided to swap the mufflers out with the Flowmaster Pro Series Shorty (part #13012100). So far, I am VERY impressed with the greatly reduced interior drone, and the overall exhaust note. Here are a couple quick clips from my phone to give you an idea of how it sounds.

Idle...

Hard acceleration...

"Burnt out" Kooks muffler
