glad you are getting taken care of but it took them way too long to decide to replace the engine.

Currently 15552 miles and Ive had it since July 3rd 2009. Its been driven very conservitively since the snow also so you can imagine around 14000 miles in 4 months or so. Absolutely no issues with the engine. Bolt on the spoiler came loose 2 weeks after I picked it up but that was an easy fix it yourself. Forgot the car was made in Canada though so I had to make a special trip to pick up sockets in mm.

It does not matter if it was made in Canada or the USA, Most fasteners are now Metric on GM cars... but every once in a while they will throw in a few SAE nuts and bolts just to keep us Americans happy LOL

Mind you, the car has 5500 miles on it total, and at 2400 miles, the clutch failed and GM replaced my clutch AND tranny.... all covered under warranty....

Now I'm being told that they can not find the source of the noise and that GM has advised the dealership to pull the engine and tear it down to find the source of the problem. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!

THE CAR HAS A TOTAL OF 5500 MILES ON IT!!!! Here goes another month without my car I bought not even 6 months ago....

is there anyone else out there with any similar happenings?
