Need help removing SS/RS badge Front grill

hey guys, just recently got my camaro and i need help on how to take the RS badge on the front grill.
i heard from others on the forums that it was only connected by a few clips. ive tried to take it off with my hands and i know i can feel like the clips but i just dont know in which direction i need to pull/push. it feels like i might break something and my other option would be to take the whole front bumper off to take a look and eventually take it off but i dont trust myself in doing that. im hoping someone could help me out with some directions without having the bumper removed. Much appreciated!

If you raise your hood you can then remove the top plate in front of the radiator I believe there are 4 bolts and 6 grummits that hold it in place. You will then be able to see and access the clips holding the bowtie to the grill. Not very hard once you remove the plate.

I used a small but long flat blade screwdriver to help. Push the edges inward while pulling out on the emblem. Here is the pic of mine I pulled out.
