Went to my dealer today Stingray Chevrolet. On the lot they have a 2012 ZL1 Modded DEMO unit. Salesman told me they did the modding and will honor the warranty on it. They are a performance dealer.

It's Ashen Grey / A6 / Exposed CF hood / sunroof & suede package.

Dealer added
Window tint
Brake pulse warning system
ARH Long Tube headers
CAI
Retuned.

If anybody is looking for a car like this already modded and warrantied give them a call. I just looked at it today.

My guess is that car has been driven pretty hard from the beginning. Even with the warranty, I don't know if I'd want to deal with any possible issues down the road. Just my thoughts...

Thats a good thing, was broke in properly not this pansy 1500 mile under 80mph/4k RPM CRAP

Kinda priced high for a "Demo" car. Get a 2013 for 10K less.

Yes priced high. But the idea there selling is a modded car with a warranty.. if all dealers were this way id imagine they could make some cash... not a bad idea.

Flat on the floor after 500 miles here and trapped 119 all stock before cai.

Not with those options. MSRP on a 2013 equal optioned is $60,800 Plus the mods & the warranty.

Not too bad considering they will honor the warranty.

I think that would be a "dealer specific" warranty, which means not valid at any other dealer.

Headers are only $1000 and 2012s are going for $50K......so thats about $13K over retail.....and if you can't get GM to warranty more....its more like $45K.

I've never seen headers void a warranty....and as long as you reverse the tune before you take it in for service, thats usually fine.

And GM performance cars run better when you beat on em.

And from the picture.....that dealer has quite a few vettes on the lot.
You can probably get a much better deal on the on one of those c6s that they are giving away right now.

$64k? Hopefully it's GM certified for that price and being a 2012 at that. I don't see it selling for $64k. They may want to subtract $10k unfortunately.

VOIDED WARRANTY if the computer ever gets looked at for a major failure...

I bought a dealer demo w/ 3,200 miles, Honda S2000 roadster when they first came out in year 2000. A few months later, I got in a minor fender bender and a chuck of body filler broke off my driver's side front fender.

There had been about 3 body repairs on this car and it was not disclosed to me.

Make sure you get it in writing the dealer will honor the warranty, cause GM wont....

Why I got the warranty on my car through the dealer, not GM.
