Now if you could get that 2.1 60' more consistently.

I tried what Racergirl said she does which is bring the RPM's up to 1500 and launch, but she has 2.92 gears on a 2LS stock. She cut a 1.9 second 60' time, but when I try her method I just spin and spin. Next time I'm going to just bring the RPM up to load the driveshaft, then launch off idle. One tire fire is the best. |

How are you staging? You want to stage as shallow as possible for the best ET.

I will get her used to driving without traction control. She drives a Mazda CX-5 daily so there is a small horsepower difference. I also reinstalled the BBK intake, I did it differently this time though, the coupler on the throttle body looks better now.
I am staging shallow, I will creep up till the first light then keep bumping forward till the 2nd light. Sometimes I overshoot though. I leave traction control off on my car since last time I left it on it screwed up at the end, my engine revved like it was not in gear. |

Lol I was running low to mid 12's in my t top camaro on drag radials and skinnies, they didn't say anything about helmets. I will probably be selling it sometime soon though.
Like a cobalt ss turbo, with a tune they make 310-320 whp and weigh 300 lbs less. Looking for a better daily driver. |

Don't know how the Cobalt SS is, I know we had a base model one and the AC on that thing sucked. We had that car for 1.5 years before we traded it in for the Mustang. |

I drove the Mustang today without traction control and may have found the issue. The car isn't chirping or barking the tires shifting into 2nd, it is pure spinning. Spinning so bad it shifts into 3rd, killing the acceleration. This was with the tires warmed up.
The gears are still worth it though, car is fun to drive. |

She wants the Gloss Black AMR Wheels from American Muscle. Was thinking of going with the Mickey Thompson Street Comp's in 255 front, 285 rear. |

I'm starting to wonder if I should buy a pair of 18 x 10 rear wheels and throw some 285/35/18 Nitto NT555r drag radials on her car for now. It will cost $1800 to get a full set of summer tires for her car but I could get the drag radials for around $900 and that will make a big improvement on her times.
We want to get 19" wheels because we want to put Brembo's on her front brakes and paint them grabber blue after we put the supercharger on. I'm just thinking of doing the drag radials now so she can break into the 13's easily. |

Just go get some 555r's from wal mart for like 300-400 bucks and my friend can sell you these stock 5.0 GT wheels for 50-100 bucks.
