But all their HID and halo stuff is a knock off of TRS stuff. So your better off getting it right from TRS. Their projectors are knockoff moritomos. Their LED halos are the same way. Why deal with a company that blatantly lies to its customers saying those products are theirs. I've personally dealt with AAC and hope never to have to deal with those people again. Walmart employees are easier to deal with.

OEM Solution for HIDs in non RS SS - maybe

I wrote the following to GMPartsDirect.com. Anyone ever worked with them?

---
Scott,

Is the 2012 Camaro Headlamp assembly w/HID compatible with the 2013 Camaro? Also, where do I find the actual part numbers?

I'm interested in the following for both left and right:

1. Headlamp assembly with HID (L/R) $603.51 x 2
2. Harness with HID (L/R) $165.48 x 2
3. Headlamp assembly, bolt with HID (L/R) $2.12 x 2
4. Headlamp assembly, nut with HID (L/R) $2.31 x 2

Thanks,
CRT
---

Couple things to note:
  • This ain't cheap! Note to self: "shoulda ordered the RS! You ordered Xenon in your S4 in 2001 and they were $1200 then if not more."
  • Been told by a guy who wires lots of camaros to go OEM.
  • Will let you all know the reply to my questions above.
  • Does not include Halos. I'll have to add later.

The halos are included. They are part of the internals of the headlight housing. They are not a separate part. Just make sure the ballast and bulb come with it.

If you get the hids you'll likely regret not getting them later. The hids are worth it a hundred percent

Then it would be a better car. Just like the ZL1 and GT 500. On the ZL1 all the coolers are standard, on the GT 500 it costs $2500.

My mistake. My memory was inaccurate. GM has them on all models to reduce production costs.
