I don't like the exterior much. The wheel flares look like an afterthought and the rear is ruined. However, I like the 427 and bare bones approach. I bought a 1ss just because I didn't need or want the stuff in a 2ss. I would however order a/c and a radio. If they really wanted to lose some weight, delete onstar, power mirrors, power locks, rear window defroster, (I would say power windows tool but I'm not sure I could deal with leaning over to roll down a passenger window), cruise control, steering wheel controls, sound deadening material, and lighten the rims and tires. Can someone verify that it doesn't have a radio? I only heard that it only had one speaker. All the interior pictures I've seen show a radio.

I had to laugh. I guess it's the power of the Z/28 badge.

Ok, there are a lot of people who are turning and bashing those who said they didn't like the refresh yesterday. I am one who did not like and still don't like the new look. For those who are trying to spin this around, let's get the following clear:

-The Z/28 is out weighing the fact that the looks are still not to everyone's liking, as to be expected, the Z/28 specs are fantastic and its what we've all been waiting for. GM did the name proud.
-But, how much more excited would everyone be if all of those Z/28 specs and moniker were applied to the current body style?

If I wanted something without modern creature comforts I would buy an old car and just upgrade the motor.
If you want something with modern creature comforts you can get a ZL1 or a 1LE. Both are great track cars and daily driver cars. The Z28 is not meant to have these at all, it is a track car you drive home.

Meh, I like it a lot but it wouldn't suit my lifestyle. :(

Keeping the Jewel

Liking the rear more after seeing the whole thing and in a different color.

WOW!! fvcking WOW!!

Carbon Ceramic Brakes + LS7 427 + Racing Seats = Perfect Track Monster!!

I wonder how fast this thing lapped the ring? Wouldn't be surprised if its faster than an M car or as fast as a Porsche.

The Z/28 seemed to be sporting a pearl white, that could be a new addition.

Not that many will care but I wonder what the fuel efficiency on will be. If it's only 15/24 on the much lighter corvette it may be looking at a gas guzzler tax.

You and at least half the posters on here I suspect. I liked it yesterday. I love it now. Now this is a Camaro I can lust after. The ZL1 got my attention. The 1LE my respect. This might just get my money. Nice work GM.
