P015B & P015D code help
I have a 2014 Camaro SS with about 47k on it. The only mods it has are a CAI cold air intake which it’s had since new and recently added the phasetek scoop and washer bottle relocation kit. After that install a few weeks later it threw a P015D code for delayed response on the passenger side. I replaced that primary 02 sensor and all was good for about 400 miles then it threw that P015D again. I cleared the code and then it threw P015D and P015B. I replaced the driver side 02 sensor and now it will drive for awhile but will throw either both or the P015D code. There is some hesitancy between 1000 and 1500 rpm under light throttle which I assume is it leaning out. It also used to put a lot of black soot on the tailpipe and it doesn’t now. Both of the 02 sensors were new ACDelco brand. I also checked the 02 sensor fuse and it’s fine. Would that air scoop kit really change the car that much that it now needs a tune even without any sort of headers? Looking for some help don’t know what to check next.

Probably had headers on it at one time, and never had the stock tune put back to stock. I'd check that with someone who has HP Tuners

If you remove the scoop, and the problem stops, then you probably need a tune for
that configuration. Based on, you did not have this issue till you installed it. Mostly, you are not going to get any good answers from people here. I mean, look at the headers, and tune reply, when you didn't even mention them, AT ALL. People just assume what they want, without asking any questions. Others read and see all kinds of shit that wasn't even in the post. I mean, you actually had to specify that you owned the car since new, and never had headers, because someone assumed, for no reason, that you did. For every right answer, you will have three or more that are wrong, or that had nothing to do with what you posted. So, you won't see me ask a THING in a forum or facebook group. I tested that here, with an issue, that I already knew the answer for, and you should have seen the WRONG answers, and incorrect information I got. I even provided more clues, and they STILL got it wrong, and still saw what was not there and gave answers based on their inability to read or comprehend English. So, when you get answers, 64% of them will be wrong, for whatever reason. Most of the replies are just those people saying "Don't forget about me today." |

a new car before the day is done... I have no problem being an ASS, I'd rather that, than see words in questions that don't exist, and supply wrong information to someone seeking help. Or give an answer that has noting do do with what was asked, they SAW it somehow... It is getting way out of hand, people wasting money, time, and effort with WRONG answers. You can't be SERIOUS, and think that giving an answer for something that wasn't even there, is just freeking great, do ya? You people should be held financially liable for providing WRONG answers that people spend money on. I guarantee you, if that were the case, reading comprehension would go up 100%. |
