Cam Change - over time -
Would it be beneficial or detrimental to do a cam swap a little at a time.
Like buying a set of springs and installing them before you can afford to get the camshaft. or is this idea just a big waste of time? I probably know the answer, but just thought I would put it put there.

Just do it all at once. If you have to buy all the parts a little at a time so be it.

As stated above, you can buy piece by piece, but don't install piece by piece. You should wait and do the install all at once.

There’re deals to be had on complete kits, but do what you can do I guess. I paid big money here in Canada for the whole thing. Cam, pushrods, springs, timing gear, pre built bushed rockers, c5r chain, oil pickup tube brace, and installation and tuning.

Do it all together. Let's say you install the springs and then never get around to doing the cam....It would kind of be a waste. We can piece a build together for you if you need help.
