We are not going turbo. I'm a big fan of turbo's and run an 88mm on my personal car. It just won't fit our goal/ needs with this build.

Sorry if you came away with some wrong impressions from those emails. The turbos will come on faster than a YSI. The lag off the line thing was just mentioned because you were coming from a PD blower and I wanted you to understand launching a turbo car under boost takes some different steps. But if done correctly you can launch off the line already spooled up with a 6Lxx trans off the foot brake. And at that time you had told me stock cubes. Now, with a 10.7:1 big motor it's a totally different story. I still need that TVS if you want to change your mind

The TH400 fitment I don't think will be a big deal at all. It's just going to be moving the waste gate locations. We'll get a mock up trans and get that figured out.

I'm a YSI fan too though. The YSI won't do "just fine"...its gonna rip! Lag on a YSI...LMAO. Whatever...it is a second tops before you are into boost...and my guess is a converter change is coming so that the combo is into boost fast. I think slowhawk has a killer coming.

Don, welcome back to C5. Your reputation on other sites I visit is excellent.

You should have no problem building that reputation further on Camaro5.
