What part? Most stuff on our site it should work for. I'm not sure we have a discount on the ATI balancer so I'll go ahead and add something for you guys. We don't have a ton of profit in the ATI stuff but at least this way we will be cheaper right off the bat for the board members. Try now

So everyone seems to agree if i just go with the 15% weapon x upper pulley then that should be good pulley wise correct?

I think the vote is for the 15% lower pulley. I would do the upper only if you were going to port the blower as well. This would be a good time to do it as you have to take the SC off to put the upper on anyway plus give you some good extra power.

*Shameless plug for little known fact*
I manufacturer my own ATI compatible pulley rings as well. I have these things stocked in spades. I keep the ATI dampers on hand, but I will be switching to a different company soon for dampers. https://dsxtuning.com/collections/su...4-lower-pulley |

I actually prefer to hear from the vendors. They have a lot of knowledge and if they offer a discount to member then HECK YES! Of course they are going to promote their products and they should. Also doing it on this site puts them on notice as they have a rep to keep good. We are their customers and if they do is wrong then everyone will hear about it and no one will use them. Example: Maryland Speed shop.
So I say yesssss to the shameless plugs. |

Still cannot understand why someone would be so quick to change a perfectly engineered motor/chase combo. No way in hell any of these modded cars run as smooth as stock. I just dont see where you can even use the 650 on the street, let alone anymore. Seems like a waste to me. But to each there own.

So if you do the pulley, you immediately impact the efficiency of the system. Gain a few horse, but the blower is working harder, is less efficient, and you loose your warranty. Basically taking a good thing and not even modifying it properly. If your gonna do that, just put the bigger blower on it. That would be not short cutting an otherwise perfect setup.

Doing a pulley and light bolt ons can cost about 4K with all installed and tuned. It’s a difference of going 11.2 in the 1/4 to 10.6. I know that doesn’t sound like much being roughly 1/2 second faster but the mph is also greater say 126 to 135 give or take. I think it’s worth doing. Won’t hurt anything. Car should drive like stock. |

Personally i dont think gaining a .5 in a 1/4 is worth it to throw my warranty away and pay 4k, and i guarantee you it will never feel as well tuned as stock. I mean unless your tuner knows more than GM!

Some good points. Same reasons I don't plan to mod. Stock ZL1 650 HP sure helps My Grand National was a great car. Had lots of fun, but the parts were so miss matched it never had the factory calibration smoothness anymore. Full tilt was awesome. But a stock car just cruised around nicer if that makes sense.
