I installed the Z/28 suspension on my 2013 1LE. Love the set-up with my Eaton Trutrac and 19x11, 19x11.5 w/305s....Its a complete package!

was your suspension modded before the install? Would be interesting to hear what it's like going from 2010 suspension to the Z/28.

Bone stock. The DSSV dampers in a ready-to-race package was what drew me in. I should have my first local SCCA event this year here late this month so I'll review it then.

I'm hoping it'll be a gamechanger for this car, can't wait to get the parts on! I'll be running it on a 275 slick, we'll see how it does in ESP

I think you'll notice a difference from bone stock lol I'll keep an eye out for the review

Very nice! I'm trying to figure out my next move for suspension, added sway bars but want more.

How does the Z-28 Package effect the day to day driving characteristics?
Thinking of getting the Package for my 14 SS.

It rides like a stiff sprung track car. It is not harsh, but it is stiff and you can tell. If you are going to track the car it may be worth it. But I wouldn't get it if this is your daily driver that doesn't get any track time.

Thanks! I am planning to hit a few SCCA local events. The SS is a weekend Warrior and is not driven daily. Just looking for a great handling package!

In that case, I would match the suspension package with a new wheel and very good tire so you can reach max potential of the suspension. Enjoy

I just read your sig. You should be just fine with the DW.

Data Time

Being an engineer...there's no such thing as too much data. Below I've included a list of individual component weights in the kit. All in lbs.

Front:

Strut/Spring Assembly - 22
Lower Control Arm - 11
Handling Link - 5
Swaybar w/Endlinks/Bushes - 18

Rear:

Damper/Spring Assembly - 14
Lower Control Arm - 6
Toe Link - 3
Trailing Arm - 2
Upper Control Arm w/Bushes - 17
Swaybar w/Endlinks/Bushes - 19

Just got it in the garage, should have the front done tonight.
