Cobra Suzuka with Brey Krause Install

Piggy got a new Cobra Suzuka GT. The GT is 30mm wider than the standard Suzuka. Originally they shipped a Sebring GT by mistake. Tried to make it work but the halo was just a bit too tall in the headrest to fit. We used Brey Krause adapters and side mounts with Recaro sliders. The problem with most adapters is they put your head through the roof and many have slop in the front J hooks which the Camaro uses. Used Schroth Quick Pro Fit harness with anti submarine technology. These were designed for the E90 BMW but click right into the Camaro. The install turned out to more of a pita than first thought, but after getting the right seat everything went smooth. The Brey Krause set up requires no additional drilling when using the Recaro sliders and Brey Krause side mounts. Everything lined up correctly and all hardware was provided. On the sliders make sure you order the non tabbed ones. I'm 6'2 and have plenty of headroom with a helmet. In fact I could even move the seat higher and still be good. There is absolutely no slop in the brackets and everything is solid as a rock. Still able to use the stock 3 point belt and unclip the Shroth easily. With the belts tightened you aren't going anywhere. The Shroth harness will only be used for autocross so not to upset the safety Nazi's. Ian at Brey Krause was helpful in determining the correct side mount to use with whatever seat you decide to go with. I really like the high leg bolsters as my legs were always flopping around.

Awesome job there! Looks nice.
Question for you. When you say "Recaro Sliders" are you referring to the factory OEM Recaro seat sliders or are these sliders for the aftermarket Recaro seats directly from Recaro?

These are the aftermarket Recaro sliders. You want the ones without the tabs. They also came with hardware.
