The fun part of owning a muscle car is learning how it works and how to make it the way you like as far as mods (parts) there are alot of companies with good parts as far as paying somebody to do it for you i think it kills the fun a havinng a hot rod besides alot of the MOD or TUNNING SHOPS in here will not tell you in here how much does it cost to install something 99% of the time they will tell you to call them as if its TABOO to ask and thats because they most likely gonna over charge you up the wazoo think about everything they have for these cars are BOLT ONs means remove and direct replacement just think your average shop charges bet $70 and $90 bucks an hour labor an cat back exhaust takes the most an hour and a half and thats if you run into a problem usually take less time and there are people in here that have paid $300 bucks for that install thats a RIP OFF so ask alot of questions before your purchase and install unless you are rolling in dough me i dont like being taken F--k that sorry i had to vent ive been asking a few shops in here for prices and they are full of it lol

I went with Cold air inductions cai and Spintech Cat back after about 10000 sound clips and hours of research check out our clubs website for the review, link is in my signature

I like cold air inductions best for pipe and cone type and I dig the vararam too
exhaust is more personal preference get the sound you like because for the most part the performance bump should all be close

my exhaust is going on soon but I liked the sound of the flowmasters spintech mbrp borla is nice too
Yes, thanks. I was leaning towards vararam but will def look at cold air inductions. Thanks.

Good point. I have a good friend who is a mechanic. We are gonna order the parts and he is going to help me install them so I don't screw anything up. Looking forward to doing it myself. Sheesh, i haven't worked on my own car since my 1976 chevelle malibu.

Yeah, last year he built a detached garage with a lift so we are good to go. He wants one of these cars bad so he is looking forward to getting under the hood and helping out. All I have to do is let him drive it once in a while, as long as I am in it of course.

I'm like someone did, so we were car seat shopping and there was one that had orange trim so I made her register for that one so it would match the car!!! She was pissed! I couldn't help but laugh! Car is doing great, has not left my driveway since Thanksgiving, i'm stockpiling parts to install as soon as the weather breaks! Can not wait to see what the new rims look like on the car! How's things with yours done any mods?
the seat for the new born is tough if your wife is short you are in put it behind her seat, matching seat is awesome good luck congrats life is about to get crazy God Bless,,

Its a little bit of a drive bu Vette Doctors in Amityville ( www.vettedoctors.com ) is absolutely phenominal they have the fastest Vettes in the world, great personal service, and extremely reasonable prices (a few years ago they rebuilt my C5's tranny for like $1200 which is CHEAP).
