Don't laugh, but what exactly does "6 credits remaining," mean?

Each vehicle that you tune requires a one time consumption of credits which get tied to the VIN. Most cars will require two credits, so 6 credits will allow you to tune 3 more cars. You can purchase additional credits for about $50/credit. This basically allows you to use this one device to tune an unlimited number of cars, rather than having to purchase a new device for each car you're tuning.

On edit: the seller is offering a kit that still has $300 worth of credit, which is a great deal. New, they come with 8 credits.
