Finally got a Cam!!

I’ve been wanting a cam now for over 4 years and finally got one put in. I had wanted a big cam and stall but ended up going with Texas speed cam my installer has ground to their specs that works with the stock stall. Still picked up 74 peak hp and the car is a beast now. Gen3performance and dyno in Alabama did the work. They are a good, honest shop if you are in the southeast and need a cam.

226/238 113 cam

Yea I’m thrilled, so much more fun with a cam. I see you have the npp exhaust. Is that 2.5”? My shop told me a 3” would make more power with the cam. I currently have no cats, the factory l99 h pipe and no mufflers. Trying to figure out exhaust next

That's nice. I made the exact same power with the GPI SS1 cam.

The l99 resonator needs replaced. Dont mix and match your exhaust now you have a cam.Get yourself a quality catback for your setup.

Oh that’s good to hear. You have the cam I wanted but all the shops around me use Texas speed so that’s what I went with

I’m thinking you are right. Full 3” cat back, drag radials and differential bushings are my next mods

There's definitely nothing wrong with TSP.

thank you! I'm definitely happy with TSP. I think them and GPI are both quality. I also did smith brothers trunions and the power bond pulley too. About the only thing I didn't do that I maybe should have was titanium retainers. The guys that did it told me the car is more reliable now than when i brought it to them with the stock afm garbage
