I know GPI advertises their LS3 SS1 and VVT SS1 as stock convertor friendly cams, but they really are not. I am used to it and actually love how it shakes, especially since it is so damned lopey. But I know it needs a convertor bad.
That makes sense I guess. Your exactly correct on the way it behaves at the stop light. Where did you get your cam specs?

I was reading through your mods in your sig, and remembered how you went through your swap and had the engine in your living room while you were working on it! Have you thought about doing a build thread?

If I don't have my foot on the brake my car will steadily lurch forward, matching the cam lope. With minimal foot brake pressure its absolutely no issue though. No movement except natural shaking from the lopeyness. Can't wait to get these solid BMR motor mounts on!

Mine has the bucking around a 1000 rpm as well but mainly does it when the engine is cold.

That’s cammed life for you.... I have a 3400 Yank stall and can still feel it in the brakes. So for y’all to have the stock converter that is like an 1800 RPM stall I’m not surprised it’s pushing through the brakes.

I have a 3200 Circle d stall with 391s I dont have an issue at the lights. I have a slight bucking around 900 1000 rpm while driving. Just wondered if others had it.

Very nice, was thinking about getting a cam and stall as well. How much did it run you for everything? Looking to see how much it would be on average.

mine was $3700 with the tunion upgrade. I got quotes ranging from 3500-5000 with 4500 being what most the local big name shops wanted. I will add though that it seems like your highly well known shops want more. If they have an immaculate 10 bay garage on instagram, you are gonna pay for that. Gen3performance and dyno that I used don't seem to be big on all that, but they did a great job on mine and build some fast cars.

I'd appreciate if you would. I'm interested with a .600 lift if you got beehive or dual springs as I was advised to go with dual springs once I reached the .600 lift threshold with a .605 intake lift
