GM GMEPP Warranty Anyone purchased it?

Hello all, I have a 2017 2LT convertible and since I have 2K on it I am looking at the GM GMEPP warranty ad on and like to do my own oil changes and use Mobil 1 and my concerns are even if I keep receipts showing the oil and filter and a short video proving I did change the oil when the change oil system shows too.

So I know now a days Ext warranty companies denies a claim either am mod or no records as with the dealer has proof the maintenance was done.

Anybody that has the GMEPP Ext warranty have any info on good or bad as I know my 2012 Camaro had no issues where the 2017 is a far more complicated car?

Thanks
Christopher

I'm new to the Camaro and doing research to purchase.

My dealer offers Ally Major Guard only.

Thanks to this forum I was put in touch with Becky, who I have some outstanding questions for as to which she sells.

The other guy around here is Dennis, who can't sell in CA.

I did a search and got a quote from a dealer in Illinois who can only sell GMEPP.

While my car is going into the shop, in the next week, for extensive repairs & replacement (entire convertible top, panels, possible trans issue, etc.), I am somewhat concerned over the issues that will arise beyond the 3/36 B2B.

Anyone have any insight on which is better Ally or GMEPP?

I came across a vette forum that leans towards GMEPP, but wanted to get some fellow Camaro owners opinions.

I do know that ALLY don't cover mag ride shocks while GMEPP does.

From what I have read ALLY is not as good as GMEPP or should I say the GMEPP covers more car parts. But if anything is modding or not doing the required maintenance could or will be denied.

As for the cost of them I would think the GMEPP cost more like $300 $500 but you can find GMEPP sellers that have discounts like $200 to $300 off.

Thanks
Christopher

Just got a 7 year/100k mile GMEPP extension on my 2016 Camaro SS. So I have a zero deductible full warranty on my Camaro until 8/1/2025 and 137,953 miles. Haha.

I bought from Dennis Fitchner at Denny Menholt Chevrolet via email. It was easy and seamless.

Pricing that I have gotten so far:

GMEPP

84 months / 75K, $0 deductible = $1894
84/75 $0 deductible = $2094 (Dennis Fichtner, can't sell in CA)

84/ 75 $100 deductible = $1554.00 (not sure this is an ALLY product or GMEPP)

Will update when I have more.

I am now looking at only the GMEPP as it covers the magnetic ride, etc.

Reading some interesting issues with these warranties, one guy was 6 days out of his bumper to bumper, had issues with ball bearings and they denied the claim citing it was pre-existing.
