Finally got my radiator cover installed. I bought a 3/8, 20" socket extension and used it to go through the flow tie to remove the hood latch bolts.

The biggest pain of the install for me was removing the metal clips from the OEM radiator cover and reinstalling them in the carbon fiber cover. Otherwise the install is straight forward.

A couple of tips that helped me with the install:
  1. Used a Sharpie to mark the location of the latch bolts in relation to the latch before removing so I could return it back to its original position.
  2. Measured the height of the hood stops before removing.

Looks awesome! Insight appreciated.

If I were to get an aftermarket intake it would definitely be the CAI CF.

Now I just need someone to produce CF coil covers and my engine dress up would be complete.

They are bound to show up sooner or later. There is probably a CF producer out there considering it as we speak.

It definitely would complete your look.

If you find CF coil covers, please post it up.

Nice pics guys, thanks for posting, the CF parts really dress up the engine compartment nice.

Hawk, what did you use to color in the LT4 just above the TB, is that silver or white?

I colored the LT4 with a metallic silver permanent Sharpie.

Really goes well with these also.
I tried to stay with Carbon Fiber, Red, and Polished. I have Red Weapon-X valve covers to go on when they do my Whipple, Polished headers and exhaust, and Heat exchangers in a couple weeks.
Also have a few different emblems to put on Radiator Cover, when I decided what ones look best...have a Camaro flag, the original Chevy Performance emblem, and LT4 Supercharged...and when I'm done, my 1000+ HP badge!
