I'm sort of unimpressed. And why is it not directly in front of the driver? It seems like 1/3 over on the windshield (I'm assuming the person filming this was sitting in the driver's seat facing straight ahead, which should put the HUD directly in front). It seems kind of small, jamming that much info into a 2"x3" box. Plus it requires special windshields should it ever chip or crack (glass coverage will be a higher insurance premium).

The Z06 has it dead center in front of the driver (http://www.splak.net/fbody/zo6/Phone056.jpg or http://www2.dupont.com/Automotive/en...50606_high.jpg) so I'm really hoping this video just has weird angles.

I dunno. I just don't know.

Hmm, not really impressed. Maybe you have to see it in person.

Yes. Correct. Among other packaging issues that need resolved, like still no C&C option package for the 1SS for '11.

HUD is great. Lots & lots of people want it. But not everyone. Make it an option. I'd get it, but again, don't make too much 2LT/2SS only and only standard on them...choice...choice is nice...

Basically the same HUD as I had on the 2006 Corvette I traded in on my Camaro. They are pretty cool but more of a gimmick than a necessity. Still, I'm sure everyone will want one!!!

I think it should be an option....just like a LS with a LS3. A real copo car. Only option is a LS3 and six speed manual. I even want it with the steelies.

If someone doesn't want theirs, I'll glady trade them dashboards for it!

They missed the boat on this one. They should have looked at any top selling racing video game and modeled the format after that. also MUCH MUCH BIGGER!!!!
