Do it, it looks great on SW, especially since you have the bowties blacked-out, too. I went with perforated vinyl...let's most of the light through when you brake. 2+ years and not a single issue with the cops and I have been pulled over during that time.

If you like the look, then sure go for it.

We have three shades from a Light factory smoked look to a blacked out look.

Headlight Armor Stealth Smoke (darkest available) on an RS Option Camaro:

I got the tail light bezels painted matte black. That changed the look of the rear end.

With my big worm graphix taillight blackout, all the light is still let through. You can see my brakes just as well...

And OP, definitely go for it!! It will look great and will match your black bowties!

sry it looks black on my laptop, but i went on my desktop only to see thats its actually grey , but i went along with the 20% smoke on the tails, and no regrets! thanks for the post guys, needed the extra incentive
