2014 ZL1 front license plate mount(no drilling)???

I thought I read somewhere the 2014's are different; that they require no drilling with the factory mount? Is this true? I can't find the mount that came with my car.

You have to drill. The mount for my 2015 is secured to the bumper. The package came with 4 screws and 2 rivets. I have not attached mine. I was looking into a different option so that I do not have to damage my bumper.

Its the same as the previous years; The dealer mounted bracket will require drilling through the cover. Do a search on this site for a few non-drilling bracket alternatives.

no drill brackets do exist. Jacfab makes them. I use it and it works great.

Put mine on the other day. JAC FAB is a great setup if you don't want to drill.

Hello,
I have the JacFab mount from my '13 ZL1 listed on ebay
Worked great, removed it before the car went back to GM
It's the angled version, comes with all hardware and instructions

Awesome. I'll bid on it at the end.

I made a license plate bracket out of flat stock using an instruction I found on this site. No drilling required. It mounts to existing threaded holes near the lower radiator. Took a little bit of elbow grease to do, but the look is amazing and I would do it again if I were to purchase another ZL1.

I posted this when I did it, but this was before I was informed I still had the spacers installed on my front springs.
