Question Fender flares on my Victory Red 2LT/RS

I had these added the other day and just wondered how they look to you other Camaro owners. I think they are subtle and just set off the car a little bit from a standard RS.

I think they look good, there is an SS at the Dealership here that has them.

Sorry, misunderstood what you were talking about....

Those are splash guards, mud guards, or mud flaps, not fender flares. Fender flares typically "extend the wheel opening" out away from the car (see the attached pic) or if they are worked into the fender, then you could say the fender bulged out.

Back to your splash guards, I have seen them on a number of Camaros and they look pretty good for being little add-ons. I don't know if I would add them myself, but they are decent looking.

They look good! Welcome to Camaro5. I don't have the flares on my car. Yet. 1000 miles and no rock chips so far. Fingers are crossed as I knock on wood. Did you have them painted professionally or DIY?

There have been a number ofC5 members post up their mud flaps, subtile - but I'm just not feeling it. I do like that they are the color of your car though instead of old school...

Maybe if I was seeing a lot of stone chips on my car I'd reconsider, so far - so good.

I agree.. Looks like something that you would see on a 4x4 Truck not a Muscle Car..

Not fender flares?

I appreciate all of the comments. Opinions vary and I knew they would, so thanks for the honest comments on these.

I also am interested to see them called 'splash guards'. The dealer told me that they were flares, but after reading the explanation for calling them 'splash guards', I agree that they are not flares.

The paint match was done at the dealer using the color code from the car. They painted them and installed them.

I will check and see. I am not sure what they did with these to be honest with you. I guess I will pay better attention next time. They seem to match exactly, event though I did not see them painted. I was told they needed the VIN to match these "flares" or "guards" with the car.
