I can foresee a reason that they don't have the oval track available is for 1) liability issues and 2) to help certain Camaro owners to preserve their cars.

So, if I'm just driving in for a day (probably Saturday) it'll be $20? Is there adequate on-site parking if you're not staying at a hotel?

If your carefull on what you spend at the vendors, I say 1500 would have covered me comfortably from NM last year. But those dang vendors and seeing all the cool performance parts on other cars has me still building my savings back up from last years fest. Sad thing is I would have done it all over agan if the Fest was not in Indy again. Kinda a been there done that situation. Between the parts I purchased at the fest and ordered from vendors for my 2010 and 68 along with the vacation I figured I spent about 18k, guess I was just a little over budget.

Just get there there safely. Bring a sleeping bag. I'll bring an extra 'bucket' and I'm sure my room has plenty of floor space. It will be my first Fest so we'll enjoy learning together Sorry, the wife gets the other bed
