Back into a Z/28!
Hey everyone! It's been a few years since I had to sell my 2015 Z/28, but after finding a car on this forum for sale last Friday I felt like fate knocked on my front door. Found the exact same Z I had before to the color and even the VIN was super close. Old vin was 0079 and this one is 1179. I had to take the jump... Man is the Z/28 something special. Oh how I missed the choppy idle of the LS7!

Congrats on finding another z/28 man! I have thought about selling mine, but that thought quickly leaves every time I get behind the wheel. There truly is nothing out there that replicates the feeling you get driving this machine.

Seriously, there isn't. I felt like my last Z/28 was 'the one that got away' and I kicked myself for selling it, although financially I was in a pretty tight bind at the time. I was lucky to find such a well taken care of car. I was second guessing myself paying good money for a used car when I could just as easily go get a new ZL1 1LE but it's just not the same. If you can hang on to it, I definitely would if I were you. |

Welcome back. Cool luck on the VIN #’s. Next you’ll say you were born November 1979.
The ZL1 is a totally different animal, 5th & 6th gen. |

Agree with this sentiment. I started the topic on Market Pricing a year ago. I thought about moving onto a different car. But I couldn’t find anything so visceral that’s a drivers car and good for street and track for around this price. Great car and actually a pretty good value too.

I know people sell their cars for various reasons but in my opinion (and plenty of folks here) these cars are so unique I would have to be very desperate to part with my Z. Sure, you can sell now and make some good coin but I'm pretty sure as the years go by and the money is spent sellers remorse will kick in. Good find, OP, on a beautiful ride!
