no problem. My salesman WAS the inventory manager so he kept me VERY in the loop. I asked a billion and ten questions and he answered everyone of them. he explained the entire process as i waited for the car.

I knew the day I ordered it would be at least 3 or 4 weeks for an allocation. It ended up being 5. He also told me in May to expect the car by September. He was a few weeks off but to the good!

My dealer had 1 order before mine and said allocation was not a prob. It should arrive here approx. late may early june he said.

I have the same status as you....I placed an order on January 4th and am still at 1100....It seems to me on average it looks like for the majority of people stay at 1100 for about 4 weeks, then once you hit 2000-3000 it moves pretty quickly from there....in other words if they tell you 3 months until the car is delivered it...a month of that time seems to be at spent at 1100.

Well, I ordered from Becky on 1/12/10 and hit 2000 status immediately (on top of getting the best price from her). Last Monday I hit 3000 with TPW of 2/8/10. I really recommend Becky as she has been very helpful and best of all no BS.

Wow, he is lying to you. IF there is only 1 ahead of you and IF allocation were not a problem, it would be WAY before late may, early June. If you get picked up (2000) in early february, you should have it by late March early April... 6-8 weeks. Someone is padding the time estimate.

Wrong. You stay at 1100 untill your dealer gets an allocation. Could be 1 day, could be 8 months...

sorry i missed the word average but it is misleading. you should stay at 1100 for 6 days tops.

Back to my description above of the cycle. If you order on Wednesday, you won't get picked up for 6 days, the following tuesday. If you wait any longer, you didnt ask my 2 key questions. If you can't get an immediate allocation, find a new dealer. It isnt early 2009 anymore, these things are not hard to get if you do a little leg work.

and THIS is what the supporting dealers here on this forum can provide you.....way to go, Becky!!!

My order was keyed into the system on Thursday, November 5, and it went directly to 2000 by November 6.

I got my car today. (Yay, me!)
You an read the steps my car went through the tracking system in my signature below. It took a little over 10 weeks total from placing my order until I got my car.

My dealer was up front too. I was told 4-6 months. It arrived at the delaer almost exactly 4 months. Worked out good. Ordering your car is the best way to do it. IMO. Any car.
