Where can I find 3 inch NPP mufflers?
I bought my ZL1 with long tubes to 3 inch cats (gutted), they feed to a 3 inch X pipe that has cutouts in it. The exhaust stays 3 inch until it gets to the rear diff, at that point it looks like they took the stock 2.5 inch pipe that feeds the stock NPP mufflers and stuck it in the 3 inch pipe then welded it shut.
It works but to my ears it doesn't sound good so I was wondering if anyone makes 3 inch NPP mufflers that I can have welded in? |

Have you looked at summitt or some of the other places on the net to see if some are available? I doubt they are but I have never looked for any. One of my cars I had headers on it and I cut the cats off and ran straight pipe in their place and it was really loud when you stomped the pedal. I was told at that time any of the high flow cats that were on the market would just burn out so that is why I did it that way. I think you will have to leave what you have on the car as I do not think you will be able to tell any difference if you do find those.

Hooker Blackheart makes what you're looking for. I'm pretty happy with mine.

I've been down this rabbit hole. There's plenty of companies that make the quad tip exhaust. But B&B is the only one I've found that retains the actual dual mode. I always keep an eye out on the classifieds here.

I ordered direct from Holley, 15 months ago. I just checked and their site says "not available" also.

Don’t even think you even get replacement 2.5” eom mufflers except maybe used off eBay.
If you really want 3” NPP mufflers I think you’re going to take them apart and weld 3” fittings and inside tubes. |

If it's just the tips you want, Corsa sell the tips that you get and cut you 3 inchers and get the Corsa 4 inch tips welded. If you want 3 inch exhaust all the way back then as someone mentioned above Billy Boat and Hooker Black Heart are the only ones I think.

I think B&B is the only way. I talked to Holley and they said those NPP mufflers were made for just the ZL1 kits and aren't available. They did say that the one that shows up on the Summit website BH13187 may be custom for them and could still be ordered. I have yet to call them.
I did find a youtube clip of the B&B setup and it sounds great |

Best thing I ever did with my car was have a complete custom header-back exhaust fabricated. They thermal coated my headers, and did it in all 3" stainless, x-pipe, v-bands at header collectors and rear diff, and quad 4" tips. No cats, no mufflers, car sounds rowdy as heck and turns lots of heads. Best of all, the price was basically the same as some off the shelf clamp together kit. When you look under the car, it looks really dope and has no leaks.
OP, I know that this is probably a little more extreme than what you're looking for, but a good fabrication shop may be able to come up with a much nicer solution for your car than what you can get off the shelf from some website, and probably for a better price.

Yeah, That sounds excellent. I'd love to do v bands from the header back. I'm trying to get to Jeremy Formato's shop this summer for a tune and E85. I'm going to ask him who he recommends for a custom shop. There is one here in Ocala FL, but they're real busy. I'd like to find a shop that does exhaust primarily
