How did you come up with your price?. Reason I ask is I am thinking of selling my 2010 RSSS, it's a garage queen with only 8300 miles. I have already talk to two dealer but like always they want me to bring it in so they can do an appraisal. I'm also thinking about selling her on Craigslist.

These cars have tanked in value since the 6th gen came out. and low miles zl1's can be had for mid 30's an SS isnt worth more than low to mid 20's now

Looks really good, but it just comes down to the lower value of these cars lately.
I had mine appraised and dealers of course don't offer any incentive on after market parts so were always coming in about $20K. I could maybe get another $2K if I sold it privately and that perfect buyer happened to come around...eventually. So you're best bet will be to part it out if you want to recoup aftermarket money and then do a direct trade-in for your next car. Just my two cents.

Smok'em has a forged 2010 LSA SC upgrade he's been trying to sell. Built by ADM and he's had to lower it to the upper $20k. Search the member cars for sale section will help you I'm sure..

Sorry OP, if you're asking for honest feedback it's way overpriced.
if 80k is what's on the clock, then you're looking at mid to high 20's at best. http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/5952788740.html Here what someone is ASKING for a ZL1 with only 11k miles. I'm pretty sure you can walk out of there with that ZL1 for $34k, and that's 70k miles less than your car... plus it's a ZL1. Magnetic suspension, supercharged from the factory, forged engine, crazy strong transmission, body kit, wheels, can make 650rwhp for less than $3k in upgrades all the while still has the factory warranty too. http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/5923465715.html Here's another ZL1 that's slightly overpriced by about $1-$2k. Dude is moving out of the country and I'm sure that price will go down another $3k-$5k if it doesn't sell soon. So to answer your question, the price of the ZL1 nowadays pretty much negates any modded Camaro SS's asking price. People are reluctant to buy a modded car because ... it's modded and there's no way to tell how hard it's been beaten. If it were me, I'd be throwing $27 - $28k at you as an offer. |

But I have soooo much money into the build. It's got almost 800 HP at the crank. I lowered it to 31K or best offer. You think I should lower even more to the mid 20's. Crazy, but I may have too. I put it on Mautofied.com now.

Take the mods off or sell it as is at a lower price. Everyone thinks they can get their money back from mods they put on and that's just not the case.
