Got caught in a down pour yesterday.
Now it's filthy in my garage and it's 57 degrees out here

57?? Lucky you... It's like 96 outside at the moment. The other day it was 104, and mind you it's always VERY HUMID here. Yuck

Yea I don't envy the humidity that's for sure. This has been a great summer this year in NY ....but 57 out of no where is weird man.....been between mid 70's and upper 80's everyday... it is still only August. Must be a day in the twilight zone!

I've had mine out in a very light sprinkle twice. The first time was when I drove it around with the salesman and took it home after that.

Today, I ordered a one piece DSS aluminum driveshaft. It will install on an RPM Transmissions level II SS differential with 3.91 gears. DSS 1000 HP axles will complete the hard parts. Once all that is properly mounted, a quality twin disc clutch assembly will make the drivetrain ready for the planned power upgrades. I'll be able to go to the strip and have fun on DRs without breaking or wearing out something in the drivetrain.
l'll have a ported TB and cold intake installed before the cam kit install, so the new tune will take advantage of the newly-found incoming air. With a tad over 409 RWHP my LS3 on LG Motorsports long tube 1 7/8 super pro headers, 3" high flow cats, and full 3" exhaust to the GHL 2.5" inlet mufflers with a stock airbox, the TB, cold intake, and cam kit, should put my RWHP knocking on the door of 500.

I've not rowed gears for 35 years. It's not like I don't have experience with a clutch and a stick, though. I estimate I've made 400+ passes rowing a stick. I once ripped the entire mechanism of a Hurst Competition Plus Shifter out of a 406" small block Chevy powered Henry J. I built the motor for the owner and he was a little shy of it, so I took him for a wheels-up pass. When I went to bang second, the handle didn't break - the mechanism pulled right through the boot. Hurst gave him a new shifter, and after the engineers examined it, they sent it back for me to hang on the wall. It's a trophy I'm VERY proud of.
