Ok, just did my exhaust yesterday. I thought this would turn out better. very upset with the outcome. Looking for advice...

2014 Camaro V6. Added the:
-Borla Cat Back Exhaust - S Type Series PN#: 140530
-Solo Performance LFX V6 High Flow Catalytic Converters #C23926-C23925 (From Phastek.com)

Just a bunch of start offs from the line, engine revs, open it up around 2:30sec mark. Little peel out around 5:50sec

It actually sounds pretty good. It's hard to make a 6 to get the same deep tone of an 8.

Almost sound like they're rattling on something... it doesn't sound like an exhaust leak too much, but then... Might want to check the seals too, tighten those bolts to torque and all that good stuff...

Sounds very nice for a V6... of course, better once you solve the issue... dang gremlins...

Also, to add... this thread is awesome! There should be a rule, mod your ride - post it here, lol...

Seriously though, thanks!

thanks for the quick input guys! It is completely Bolt-on. From new Cats, to the tailpipe. I actually paid a shop to do it. No welding done. I will peek under there myself and tighten stuff up. I just ordered the Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipe from Phastek too. ($110) . I might have a muffler shop weld it in, along with the other cat-back fittings.

BTW Spec, Isnt Silver an awesome color?!?!
It wasn't my first choice when I purchased, but once I got it, I loved it more-and-more!

Installed a Cold Air Inductions intake. Here's my review from another thread.

I haven't had a chance to drive more than a couple miles but under full throttle in conjunction with my Flowmaster 40's, she sounds MEAN at 4-6k. The intake definitely makes the overall tone of the car seem a bit deeper... meatier (if that makes sense). This upgrade was in prep for LT headers/high flow cats come tax season. But all n all I'm very happy with it. Fit is spot on and easy too, just as everyone says. Looks great. Even my brother who was neigh-saying because of the price was impressed when he saw it. Installation was very simple though I have to admit I do have a couple complaints/suggestions on improving the kit.

Everyone praises the 1/4 turn screws on the top piece for the box, but I feel like you even touch the screws and they come lose which is a bit worrying. Personally i'd rather just have real screws or even better, thumb screws like I have on my computer. It's just a lid, it doesn't need to be torqued, but I want to know its on there for sure. I don't like that you only use 1 of the original 2 mounting points for the box... seems less... secure(?) having only one bolt holding the box in place. My other issue is the placement of one of the screws that holds the lid down. When trying to tighten the ONE bolt holding the box in place, the mounting bracket for the lid gets in the way. This could, i imagine, easily be shifted half an inch to the right and avoid clearance issues. My socket was apparently "too deep" (maybe 1.5") so I had to use a monkey wrench to tighten it down which was annoying as the factory bolt is so long. Trivial yes, but an observation either way.

I don't mean this to seem like a flame post. or to deter anyone from buying it. I'm very happy with the product and the build quality thus far, but I was asked to post a review by CAI, so I thought I should be entirely honest. No regrets... and i'm very curious to see if it actually improves on my MPG #'s at all (once I can stop flooring it constantly) just think there's room to improve on the design a bit. I'll post pics once I have the chance.

Boo winter.

Put these on today... Initial feeling and results - the ride looks great and feels more firm at high speeds (freeway so far)... a more open stance will do that apparently. Further review and more pics (got dark on me) to come later.
